Are you experienced in channel sales and able to develop teams to perform at their best?

Holdan Limited, part of the Midwich Group, has been successful in the distribution of leading brands in the video and broadcast market in the UK for over 20 years. The success of Holdan is based upon added value delivered to suppliers and resellers. Excellent service, technical advice, quality of delivery, consultative sales and marketing support are key differentiators. Holdan will expand its activities into the Benelux area. Therefore, CRS Consultants is looking for a commercial General Manager on behalf of Holdan.

What are you going to do?

As General Manager of Holdan Benelux you will start from scratch. You compose a team consisting of an account manager, inside sales representative and a technical account manager. You love developing people, so you coach and develop this team and make sure Holdan is well-known as value added distributor in the Benelux video and broadcast market.

You set long and short term goals and ensure that these are achieved through monitoring and adjustment. You have regular consultations with the head office in Derbyshire and can quickly find the “right buttons” within the organization. Holdan UK will give you full support by all means to be successful quickly. In addition to your managerial tasks, you are regularly visiting our (potential) customers, to build profitable and strategic partnerships.

As General Manager Benelux you work in close alignment with the Managing Director and Sales and Marketing Director of Holdan UK. The position is based in the Rotterdam area.

  • Bachelor and/or Master degree
  • Channel Sales management experience with technical products
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a friendly approach
  • Able to give honest, constructive feedback
  • Willingness to travel to the UK head office
  • Experience in building, managing and coaching sales teams
  • Track record in developing and executing long-and short-term business plans
  • Results-oriented, seeing opportunities and driving positive change
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
